After Apple’s massive success in the animated emoji section, SwiftKey has released a new update for Android users to get the same test of Animojis. Yes, SwiftKey is releasing a new update by adding a new Puppets feature to the app.

SwiftKey’s new Beta update acts just like Apple’s Animoji feature allowing users to convert themselves into animated puppets. Currently, there is a limited number of characters available to its beta edition.

You can convert yourself into Panda, Dinosaur, Dog, Cat or Owl. Interestingly, you can even record a video of yours. The video length limit is 30 Seconds that means, you can record yourself with the selected animation for 30 seconds.

What you would like about this new SwiftKey’s feature is it lets you share the Recorded animations instantly on your Social Networks and other messaging apps instantly. You will get a dedicated Sharing button to share your work on different platforms quickly.

If you wish to see how this new Puppets feature will work in real life, then you need to watch out the official introductory video released by SwiftKey. Here’s the official video introducing the all-new Puppets feature for Android with SwiftKey’s Beta update. Check for yourself now!

Unlike Apple’s Animoji feature, this new Puppets feature is powered by Microsoft’s own 3D Face Tracking Technology. This feature will work with your Android phone’s front-facing camera so that you can easily make a Puppet of yourself and share it with your loved ones instantly.

SwiftKey is currently one of the best and highly used third-party Keyboard apps which are globally popular on both, Android and iOS platforms. By introducing this new Animoji-like feature, they are trying to increase their user-base. This will definitely add an extra number of users to their user-base.

If we talk more about this feature, it is still under its development mode with thousands of volunteers who are helping them build the perfect Puppets for Millions of its users.

The new Puppets feature is in its beta mode. The makers are gathering feedback and reviews of the app from the users. They will come up with a stable version after some time. Stay tuned for more updates on this in the coming days.
