Nintendo Live 2023 will be a free event, and there are two ways to obtain tickets. To get a one-day pass for a group of up to six people, you can register for a random selection drawing on Nintendo’s website between May 31st and June 22nd. Children under the age of six do not require their own pass, but the registrant must be a US resident over the age of 18 with a Nintendo account. Although it will occur alongside PAX West, tickets for the Nintendo event must be obtained separately.
If you attend PAX West, you can participate in a separate drawing for a free pass to the Nintendo event, which grants one person access. According to Nintendo’s FAQ, there are no waitlists for tickets, and walk-up tickets will not be available, so anyone hoping to attend must register for one of these drawings or possibly earn their entry through competitive tournaments playing Mario Kart 8 or Splatoon 3.
The website does not specify the kind of displays visitors should expect or how it will surpass last year’s Animal Crossing + Splatoon live concert. Nintendo has confirmed that there will be no product announcements at the event, but there will be a live stage, character photo ops, opportunities to play Switch games, and an on-site store selling exclusive merchandise.
