Fortnite Chapter 2 Second Season Launching on February 20th

If you are a die-hard fan of the Fornite game and eagerly waiting for the next edition of the game, then here’s some good news for you. Epic Games has officially announced the dates for their upcoming and the newer season of the Fortnite game. The new Fortnite Chapter 2 is all set to launch on 20, February.

Since the release date of the second chapter is shifted to 20th February, the current version of the Battle Royale becomes the longest one. During the launch period, the company has said that Season 2 of the game will be released in the Early February month. But today, they have declared the official dates for the Season 2’s launch.

Before the season ends, the gamers will be offered plenty of new things to explore as a part of the gameplay. There will be additional overtime challenges available for gamers with a two-week event to sharpen up your gaming skills.

Apart from this, the company has also announced that they are changing the physics engine of the game. The existing Fortnite’s physics engine will also be changed and it will be a new engine with new power.

Furthermore, the company states that the update will not make any differences to the gameplay. The Fortnite’s new season will look as it is and there will be no changes to its gameplay and functionality.

Since the company is adding a host of new things and features to the gameplay, it must have to be gone through the testing phase. For the very same reason, the updates will be released gradually by completing the tests of the new items.

To begin with the new season, they will start their first testing phase in early February with a group of small people.

Unfortunately, we do not know much about the new items and what things they have changed in the existing gameplay as of now. We will get to learn more about it in the coming days as the launch date for Season 2 is already approaching and is just a few days away from now.
