Fitbit adds snore detection to its Fitbit Sense and Versa 3

To enable the new sleep feature, open your Fitbit app and tap on the Sleep section. Read through and follow the onscreen prompts to learn more about the feature and enable it on your device. Then, simply wear your Fitbit Sense or Versa 3 to bed and check your results in the morning. The Fitbit app will display your snoring data along with your usual sleep data. Of course, this process will have some impact on battery life. The company recommends your device be charged at least 40% before going to bed.

To disable Snore & Noise Detect

If you’re shy about your snoring, don’t sweat it. You can turn the feature off at any time and delete any data collected so far.

  1. Open your Fitbit app and tap the Today tab. Scroll down to and tap Wear your Fitbit to bed.
  2. Tap the Settings gear icon in the top right corner.
  3. Tap the Detect Snoring toggle to disable the feature.
