Firefox Might Get VPN and News Subscription Tools Soon


If your PC’s default web browser app is Mozilla’s Firefox, then you will soon get a bunch of new things and advanced tools for your browser app. Yes, Mozilla Foundation seems to be working on a new edition of the Mozilla Firefox web browser that will include a built-in VPN and a host of other tools to the browser.

A hidden page has in the advertise revealed this information. The advert is all about “Firefox Private Network” priced at $12.99/m. Once you click the page, you will be taken to a private survey page where you will be asked to give answers to some most common questions. The purpose of taking a survey is to come up with even more stable VPN edition for the users.

It also shows that the service is not yet available for the public but they are welcoming the feedback and reviews from other users. The same version is available as Firefox’s Pro version which is an ad-free version for the pro users. You will likely to receive kind of the same features on this upgraded Mozilla Firefox web browser in the coming months.

In addition to this, the company will launch a premium subscription plan for the pro users who can avail the benefits of the ad-free version of the browser. The subscription will also come with a VPN service and a few extra features to keep your account and web-surfing secured from the Internet attackers.

The premium subscription plan will cost you $4.99 per month that will include all the premium services of Mozilla.

Apart from the VPN service, the subscribers will also get the latest News Subscription from the world’s best publishers. It will offer you a better journalism experience. This new News Subscription feature will add audio files, articles, a newspaper like articles and more. Additionally, you will also be able to change the theme and other things as per your requirements. It will be fully customizable with advanced tools.
