Firefox Gets Password Security and Zoom Support

Firefox has officially released its stable version of Firefox 76. The new stable version for the public is now available for download which includes a set of new security features.

Unlike the previous versions, the developers have now added a new security page to keep your passwords safe and secure. The browser’s separate Lockwise password manager will now display critical alerts in a new red box. If something is not going well, you will be notified with Red Color message on your browser.

For any security beach, the new password manager will send you an alert to be cautious. The same security box that appears in red color will suggest you change the password immediately. If you have reused the same password again, then your account might go in danger. Whenever you get any such notification, you will start receiving such notification.

The same password manager will show you if you are using the same passwords for multiple accounts etc. It will suggest you change the passwords on multiple accounts that you have created on different social networks or other websites.

Apart from this, the built-in password manager of Firefox i.e. Lockwise also protects your login credentials. If you have shared your computer system with any other party, you will not be able to change the password or to safeguard your computer system.

Furthermore, Firefox has made everything cleared about the new Password Breach Alert feature by adding that they will not save the actual passwords of the users. All the accounts of users associated with passwords will be encrypted that no one can easily fetch them.

Apart from the security features, the Firefox 76 has also fixed down a few bugs reported by the users. The new edition comes up with a lot of improvements that make your web surfing super smooth and easier. You can get your Firefox browser updated by making use of the built-in Update tool.

Go to Help and select About Firefox. You will get to see the current version number with an Update option. Click the Update option to get the latest version of Firefox updated.
