Fall Guys Chilly Season 3 Teased After Giant Social Puzzle

Get ready for Fall Guys: Winter Knockout.

After a frantic race across both Twitter and the Fall Guys Discord Channel, Mediatonic has given fans their first glimpse at the upcoming third season of the massively popular battle royale game.

Like a weird social experiment, the Fall Guys team asked for 300 volunteers, each of whom would be given a single piece of what they called “Jigsawus”. It was then up to everybody who had a piece of “Jigsawus” to join each other in assembling the fragments together. Once assembled, they would reveal the first tease of Season Three.

After almost 12 hours of scrambling and teamwork, the volunteers completed the puzzle and revealed the theme for Season Three to be “Fall Guys: Winter Knockout“.

The season will aptly be themed around winter and this new image shows a range of new costumes and what looks like a new level. Amongst the outfits are a snowman, a penguin and something that seems to resemble the Fall Guys equivalent of Mr Tumnus from the Narnia series.

The new level seems to show off a downhill race in which players will have to jump through a giant wheel which displays the image of a snowflake and contains a variety of holes. Undoubtedly, the star of the tease, however, is the weird dolphin looking chap that’s wearing a bowtie in the bottom corner of the image.

Fall Guys is currently in its second season, which has a strong Medieval theme. The season, which has also had a mid-season update, included a range of new levels, hazards and cosmetics for players to enjoy and it’s likely Season Three will follow suit. Alongside the seasonal cosmetics, Mediatonic continues to add special costumes, crossing over with other titles. These have recently included the Goose from Untitled Goose Game and Sonic the Hedgehog.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is available now on PS4, PS5 and PC.
