Facebook, the world’s most popular social network with over 2 Billion active users globally, has launched a new tool that lets users view and deletes data that it collects from third parties.

Facebook has been facing a lot of issues regarding the privacy of its users. The company’s CEO also received legal notices from the US Congress to discuss the privacy of the data. The new tool is a part of Facebook’s new step towards making the users’ data more secured.

Off Facebook, Activity section is there within this tool. You can see the data collected from third parties and can delete them as per your needs with just one tap on the screen. Mark Zuckerberg said the tool offers “a new level of transparency and control” for the users of the social network.

Additionally, the CEO has added that they have been working for this new tool for a while because they have to rebuild some of the features that could make the privacy of the users secured. The new tool is called off-Facebook Activity tool. This tool is now made available for all the regions of the world. Anyone can start making use of this tool to view and delete the data collected from the third-parties.
