Facebook Will Pay to Let Them Track Your Phone

Facebook has just introduced its new survey app called Study. This new venture of Facebook will pay to users for letting them track your smartphone’s activities. Yes, according to an official statement, Facebook will pay for conducting this survey to track down the behaviour of the users.

The Study app will monitor which apps are installed on your Smartphone. It will also track down the overall time spent by a user on a particular app. Apart from this, this app will keep an eye on the current location of the users and how much data the apps are consuming in a day.

The same app will not spy on your Passwords, Accounts Details and other Sensitive information stored on your smartphone. So yes, it’s a fully secured app which is designed just to study the overall behaviour of the smartphone users.

Facebook has been working on this app for months and it is finally coming to the real world. The social network giant had introduced its first study app called Facebook Research a few months back. The Facebook Research app had to shut down due to a couple of controversies. Well, Facebook is unstoppable when it comes to conducting surveys and now launching its new Study app with the same concept.

What we can assume here is Facebook is collecting the information about smartphone users to come up with something big. Facebook has eliminated the issues or we can say the features which had created controversy with the Facebook Research app. And now, the Study app is packed with security features to keep the information of the users secured and non-accessible.

Since you will get paid by Facebook for letting them study your Smartphone’s behaviour, you will have to have your personal Paypal account.

Facebook has further cleared the common doubts of the users. As per their statement, Facebook will just collect the information about the users and the apps which are being used by them on their smartphones. They will not use this data to show ads or do marketing things.

Unfortunately, the giant has not disclosed how much money they will pay to the users. We will let you know in the coming days, stay tuned!
