Facebook to Bring Dark Mode and Twitter-Like Interface to Desktop Very Soon

Facebook, the world’s most popular social network is getting a new update. Yes, you heard that right. Facebook to bring Dark Mode to mobile apps and Twitter-like interface to Desktop very soon.

In the May month, Facebook stated that they are going to update the design of the network with new dark mode. Interestingly, the same dark mode will be made available to Mobile and Desktop clients in the coming days, reported by many giant blogs and users.

Facebook has invited a lot of users to test out their new Dark Mode interface and fortunately, they have shared screenshots of the new Dark Mode interface of facebook through their Twitter handle. The same design was showcased by Facebook during their Developer’s Conference in May month.

The new edition of Facebook for Desktop does look like Twitter app’s interface with its Dark Mode. You can check out the Screenshots shared by the beta tester of Facebook in the following embedded tweet.

Unfortunately, we are unable to fetch the dark mode design for mobile devices, all we get is the Dark Mode for Desktop clients only as of now.

This was the testing edition of Facebook for testers through personal invites by Facebook. The original design and interface is still not confirmed so the overall design could be different from what we see in the screenshots.

The Dark Mode is a function which can be disabled or enabled by the users as per their references. If you don’t like the interface or the Dark Mode, you can simply disable it by using the Toggle button.

Facebook to add a quick Toggle button at the bottom left sidebar of the main page. By using this toggle button, user can enable or disable the Dark Mode feature easily.

If we talk about the mobile client, many popular apps such as Twitter, Instagram etc. support Dark Mode. iOS 13 also brings Dark Mode skin for the users and Android has also introduced the same Dark Theme function with its latest Android 10 update.

In this case, Facebook has to bring the Dark Mode support to impress the users so that they can use the app in the Dark Mode on their updated iPhone or Android devices.

More details are awaited. We will update you with some more information about the Dark Mode function for Mobile clients.
