Streamers that are eligible can even earn some extra cash through Facebook Stars, similar to Twitch Bits, which are virtual goods that can purchase by fans to help their favorite streamers.
Aside from a great earning opportunity, Level Up streamers can also unlock a 1080p/60fps streaming quality, and they can customize their dashboard, get early access to beta products and features, and a lot more to help them build their community.
To help people to figure out their opportunity in this program, Facebook has also published requirements around community standards and an eligibility criteria for monetization for those who want to give it a shot.
This could be a tight competition with Twitch and YouTube in the gaming space. Facebook want to get an upper hand against its competitors that’s why the company signed a major deal with ESL One.
