Facebook Launches its Payment Service Facebook Pay in the US


The Social Networking giant, Facebook has introduced its new payment service named Facebook Pay in the United States. The platform aims to provide a secure, convenient and super faster payment gateway to make online transactions. The platform is designed to work with Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and WhatsApp.

Interestingly, most of these platforms have their own Payment option to make online transactions and to purchase things. They are also allowed to donate money through the same options. But now, with Facebook Pay, all the accounts will be merged into one single account.

If we talk about the additional benefits of this gateway, then with Facebook Pay you can add your preferred payment method from which you can purchase app or things from these platform without having to add your details again and again.

You can also set up a Facebook app-to-app pay option to send and receive money from your accounts. You will be given full control to manage the transactions for the apps and other things. The app will only work if you allow it.

Apart from this, all the other basic information such as viewing payment history, transaction history etc. as well. You can also edit further details of your account and profile by using the Settings option from the same app.

Currently, the app is released in the US so they are offering 24*7 live chat and phone calls support to deal with the customers. This service is limited to the customers of the United States. The same service will soon be made available for the users of the other regions as well.

Facebook Pay service will begin rolling out for the United States starting from this week. Initially, this service will be available for the fundraisers, person-to-person and tickets. It will be available for Facebook and Messenger. After receiving positive feedback from the customers, the same service will be made available to more regions and more platform.

The same service will be added to Instagram and WhatsApp as well. We will have to hear the official release date for Facebook Pay service for these two platforms from Facebook.
