Currently, Look North’s flagship title is a thrilling 1v1 skill-based shooter called Outlaw Corral. In this game, 16 players compete in a tournament bracket to determine the ultimate champion through intense 1v1 battles. The developers assure players that this unique island will enhance their 1v1 skills. Additionally, Look North World is actively working on their second title, codenamed “Murcielago,” which is expected to be equally exciting and engaging.
At first glance, it may seem peculiar for a developer to solely focus on creating games within the Fortnite universe. However, in a press release, Alex Seropian explains the rationale behind this decision.
“Developing in UEFN opens a whole new world of opportunities, and we find ourselves venturing into uncharted territory. Through experimentation, we will uncover the players’ preferences and actively involve them in our decision-making process. Our games will blend beloved gameplay elements with a generous dose of humor whenever possible. We have embarked on this journey with a mindset that sky is the limit in the virtual realm. As we develop imaginative concepts, we will learn how these platforms can engage, entertain, and foster social interactions, allowing us to iterate accordingly.”
Look North World emphasizes that their studio prioritizes community engagement and the pursuit of fun. With only one game released so far, only time will reveal whether Look North World will successfully rise in the competitive landscape of Fortnite Creative.
