Let’s delve into the details of the 7th Anniversary Party event, happening in Pokémon GO:

  • Date and time: Thursday, June 29, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, July 2, 2023, at 8:00 p.m. local time
  • New Costumed Pokémon: Players will have the opportunity to evolve Party Hat Squirtle into Party Hat Wartortle and Party Hat Blastoise, both of which can be Shiny.
  • Wild spawns: The event will feature Party Hat Squirtle, Cake Hat Pikachu, Meowth, Ponyta, and Togedamaru. Rare spawns include Galarian Ponyta and Absol. Certain species will have increased encounters on specific days, such as:
    • July 6th: Party Hat Bulbasaur, Party Hat Charmander, Party Hat Squirtle
    • July 7th: Chikotia, Cyndaquil, Totodile
    • July 8th: Treecko, Torchic, Mudkip
    • July 9th: Turtwig, Chimchar, Piplup
    • July 10th: Snivy, Tepig Oshawott
    • July 11th: Chespin, Gennekin, Froakie
    • July 12th: Rowlet, Litten, Popplio

  • Field Research task encounters: Completing Field Research tasks during the event can lead to encounters with Starter Pokémon and Mega Energy for Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, Sceptile, Blaziken, and Swampert.
  • Another chance at Shiny Mew: Players will have the opportunity to purchase and participate in the All-in-One $151 Masterwork Research, which grants an encounter with a Shiny Mew. Additionally, ticket holders will receive a range of bonuses throughout the event.
  • Event bonuses: Trainers can expect increased chances of becoming Lucky Friends, increased Gimmighoul Coins from PokéStops with Golden Lure Modules, and time-sensitive bonuses like boosted XP, Stardust, Candy, and Friendship level gains.
