Dropbox is Now a Collaborative Work Tool with New Spaces Feature

Dropbox is a well-known cloud platform for so many people out there. Despite the competition that it has with Google and Microsoft, Dropbox is thriving among the users. The main reason for its popularity is the syncing feature. Now Dropbox is converted into collaborative work tool with the “Spaces” feature. The new Dropbox Spaces will help users in collaborating with the team and share files right away. If you are a part of a team that is working on a project, then the entire team will be able to access everything right in the Dropbox platform only.

This new feature is powered with artificial intelligence and if you want to share any file with your colleagues, all you have to do is to add it into the Spaces. According to the Dropbox blog, users can now access everything at one place without any hassle. It also comes with another new feature “image search” where you can search for a file without its name. Dropbox has incorporated some of the interesting features in this new Spaces that can help teams a lot with their projects.

This Dropbox Spaces will also let the user prioritize their tasks with Calendars integration, content suggestions, and team highlights. Users can also write the overview descriptions for a file along with To-do lists on the folders. They also can comment, view and edit the documents present in a particular folder.

The HelloSign integration will let the user sign in to the site with just a few clicks. This Dropbox Spaces is available for both desktop version and mobile application.

As of now, the Dropbox Space version seems rudimentary as the user cannot edit the description or add to-dos. Hopefully, the company will add these features pretty soon.

There are various types of project management software and apps in the market, but cloud space along with reputed name has helped Dropbox Spaces to stand out among them. Dropbox will be integrating with Trello in the future to offer better project management and organization. Additionally, Dropbox will be bringing “Dropbox transfer” feature very soon. This transfer feature will let the users transfer big files very easily and they can set the password for files along with expiration date.
