Dragon Quest XI is Ready to be Released on Switch in Japan in early 2019


In the Jump Festa 2019 which recently held on 22 Dec, Square Enix announced that the Dragon Quest XI S, Nintendo Switch version of “Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age” will be released soon in early 2019. The Switch version is going to be released in Japanese voice-overs.

Dragon Quest XI is an RPG where players need to explore the world and to fight against different monsters. Dragon Quest will soon available on most of the platforms as described by Square Enix, but now it will be available on Switch in a Japanese voice-over.

A new trailer has been launched by Square Enix in the Jump Festa 2019 which is now available on YouTube. Additionally, Yuji Horii, Game Designer, and Scenario Writer said that the switch version will be launched with some new elements added to make the game more interesting.

“In the game’s story you can marry, but I thought that people would want to choose from various characters, so we’ve added that,” Yuji said. “While it isn’t marriage, you can even choose Erik or Hendrik—so you can choose the person you live with.”

Not only that but also Square Enix mentioned in their announcement that On 1st January 2019, they are being ready for a surprise regarding the Dragon Quest XI. Now all eyes on this surprise is that, Is they are going to release the English Version of Dragon Quest XI as Surprise?

You can find out Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age on PlayStation 4 and on PC. Meanwhile, it has not been declared yet, that when will the Switch version of Dragon Quest XI be released outside Japan.
