Blizzard recently released the Diablo 4 PC Patch 1.0.2i, aimed at rectifying some rather exasperating issues plaguing the Necromancer character selection screen. Since the game’s launch in early access last week, we’ve seen several patches for the latest entry to the Diablo universe, but this update is specifically for the PC version and attempts to address the glitch that causes players to get stuck at the character selection screen while playing as Necromancers. Additionally, this update fixes a problem that caused control inputs to malfunction when teleporting or zoning in and out of dungeons.
The new patch also tackles graphical issues, with black flashing textures occurring when players teleport into specific towns, although it’s not mentioned which ones in the patch notes. However, once you’ve installed this update, this shouldn’t be a problem anymore.
It’s worth noting that Blizzard also deployed a patch for all platforms, containing bug fixes and improving overall stability, but no details on specific fixes have been provided yet.
Diablo 4 is now playable on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One, and has already become the fastest-selling game in Blizzard’s history, with players spending over 93 million hours playing the game.
