This mode is similar to the “Jordan Challenge” from NBA 2K23. Additionally, the ProPlay feature aims to bring real-world NBA footage into the game engine, although further details about this innovative feature will be revealed in the future.
While the addition of cross-play and ProPlay showcases the advancement of authentic gameplay, it is disappointing to see PC excluded from these features, especially considering its ability to support ProPlay. Ever since the release of the PS5 and Xbox Series S/X consoles, PC players have been left with last-gen versions of the game. Fortunately, EA Sports’ NFL Madden changed this trend last year, providing PC players with the full range of features. However, NBA 2K24 for PC will only offer the Neighborhood portion of the My Career mode, without cross-play functionality.
