Coolpad Note 8 Launched with Dual Rear Cameras and 4,000mAh Battery: Price, Specifications and More


Coolpad has today launched its latest Note-Series smartphone the Coolpad Note 8, in India. The main highlights of the smartphone include a dual camera setup at the back, a 4,000mAh battery, Face Unlock, and a large 5.99-inch display with no notch.

Coolpad Note 8 comes with the price tag of Rs. 9,999 and will be exclusively available to purchase via Paytm Mall starting today. It will be made available in Black Piano colour option.

Coolpad Note 8 Specifications

The Coolpad Note 8 runs on  Android 8.0 Oreo operating system and sports a 5.99” full-HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) 18:9 display. The smartphone is powered by a 1.5GHz MediaTek MTK6750T quad-core processor coupled with MaliT860-MP2 GPU. It offers 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via MicroSD card.

For photography, the Coolpad Note 8 comes equipped with a dual rear camera setup with a combination of a 16MP primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture, autofocus and LED flash and 0.3MP secondary sensor to capture depth information. On the front, it has an 8MP 4P lens with f/2.2 aperture. Camera features include filters, face beauty for selfies, blur mode, panorama mode, Face unlock, and more.

The Coolpad Note 8 is fuelled by a 4,000mAh  non-removable battery that is claimed to offer 200 hours of standby time and up to 8 hours of talk time. Connectivity options include Dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, 3.5mm audio jack, and micro USB 2.0 port. Sensors onboard include proximity sensor, light sensor, and accelerometer. There is also a fingerprint scanner at the back. It also supports touch control gestures to customise quick launch shortcuts. The phone measures 151×72.5×8.3mm and weighs 185 grams.
