On Monday, coolpad has launched its flagship smartphone in the Indian market Named Cool Play 6. The smartphone will be available to purchase exclusively vai Amazon.in from September 4 at the price point of Rs. 14,999. It will be available in Gold and Black color options.
The new Coolpad Cool Play 6 sports an all metal uni-body design with 5.5” full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display. It runs in Journey UI based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system. The company has also announced to provide the Android 8.0 OTA update by December 2017. The smartphone is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core Snapdragon 653 processor coupled with Adreno 510 GPU. The device offers 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which can be further expanded via micrSD card.
As for the camera, the Coolpad Cool Play 6 bears a dual-rare camera setup with two 13MP sensors along with f/2.0 aperture, dual-tone, dual-LED flash, phase detection autofocus (PDAF), HDR and 4K videos. On the front, there is an 8MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture for talking selfies and making video-calls.
Connectivity options of Cool Play 6 include dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi (802.11 ac/a/b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and USB Type-C. The smartphone also has a fingerprint sensor on the back panel located under the rear cameras. The smartphone is powered by 4000mAh non-removable battery which claims to give up to 252 hours on standby, up to 9 hours of internet browsing, 8hours of video watching and 6hours of extreme gaming.The handset measures 152 x 75.2 x 8.45mm and weighs 170 g.
