Coolpad Cool 6 to launch in India soon

NEW DELHI: Smartphone maker Coolpad is all set to launch its new smartphone in India. The company has teased that it will soon launch the Coolpad Cool 6 smartphone in the country.
Successor to the last year launched Cool 5, the smartphone will be exclusively available online on Amazon. It is expected that the company might launch the smartphone during the upcoming Great Indian Festival sale on Amazon.
The company has confirmed that the smartphone will sport a triple rear camera setup with 48MP main sensor and two 2MP cameras. The smartphone will come in Blue and Silver colour options. Coolpad Cool 6 will house a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and will be powered by MediaTek Helio P70 processor.
The handset will come in two variants — 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage and 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The smartphone is said to come with a 6.53-inch FHD+ display and is expected to house a 4000mAh battery.
Last year, Coolpad launched the Cool 5 smartphone in India at Rs 7,999. The smartphone comes with a 6.22-inch HD+ display with 720×1520 pixel resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio.
The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 processor. The handset runs Android 9.0 Pie operating system out-of-the box and it comes with dual SIM functionality.
Coolpad Cool 5 is backed by a 4000mAh battery with support for fast charging. The handset sports a dual rear camera setup which consists of 13MP main sensor and 2MP depth sensor. The smartphone also offers a 16MP selfie camera which is placed in the notch of the display.
