Coolpad Cool 2 with Dual Cameras and MediaTek MT6750 SoC Launched

Coolpad has today launched a new smartphone dubbed as Coolpad Cool 2 in China. The Company is yet to reveal the pricing and availability of the device. It will be made available in Black and Blue colour options.

Talking about the specifications, the Coolpad Cool 2 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and sports a 5.7”HD+ (1440 x 720 pixels) 18:9 display. The smartphone is powered by 64-bit MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor coupled with Mali T-860 GPU. It offers 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to GB via microSD card.

For photography, the Coolpad Cool 2 comes equipped with a dual rear camera setup with a combination of a 13MP and 0.3MP cameras. On the front, it has an 8MP shooter for selfies and video calls. The front camera also comes with facial recognition technology to unlock the device.

The Coolpad Cool 2 is fueled by a 3,200mAh battery. Connectivity options include Dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and a micro-USB 2.0 port. There is also a fingerprint scanner on the back.  The smartphone is also a waterproof device, but the company did not reveal the certification though. It measures 154.7 x 73.3 x 9.0 mm.
