Comio C2 with 4000mAh Battery Launched in India at Rs 7199


Expanding its portfolio and presence in India, Comio on Wednesday has launched its new ‘C2’ smartphone in India. The smartphone comes with the price tag of Rs. 7,199 and will be available to purchase at key retail stores in North and West India along with online availability through Snapdeal, Flipkart, Amazon, ShopClues and Paytm. The device comes in Royal Black and Royal Blue color options.

The main highlights of the Comio C2 are it’s after sale services. Company is offering a 30 days DOA policy along with a buyback and upgrade offers where users will get an assured 40 percent return on their existing Comio phones. The smartphone also comes with a free one-time screen replacement warranty within six months of purchase. It also offers one-year + 100 days’ extra manufacturer warranty. Further, the brand has a data tie-up with Reliance Jio and the users will get additional 5GB of data voucher with a recharge of Rs 309 or above.

Talking about specifications, The Comio C2 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system with Comio UI on top and sports a 5.2” HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS display. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz 64-bit quad-core MediaTek MTK6737 SoC coupled with Mali-T720 GPU for smooth gaming experience. It offers 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. There is a dedicated microSD card slot.

For photography, the Comio C2 comes with an 8MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash support for better low light capturing. On the front, there is another 8MP front facing camera along with selfie flash.

The smartphone is fueled by a 4000mAh battery which can give a good backup. Connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS and micro USB port. For security the device comes with a Freezer and Clone applications. It also features anti-theft feature. In a case of any suspicious activity, SIM-based alerts are shared with a registered mobile number. The anti-theft feature also has an image click seek option, wherein the smartphone clicks the photo of the unauthorized person who tries to unlock the devices. Other than this, there lock and unlock feature, shutdown blocker, data backup and SIM related functions.
