Chrome OS 72 is finally rolling out with Google Assistant and Android Pie Support


Google has finally released the latest version of Chrome OS. The new Chrome OS 72 which was in Beta from the last few months is now released for the users. The new version of Chrome OS includes different several new features and has some improvements for Chromebooks and many other devices running on Google’s Operating system.

Chrome OS 72 comes with an optimized version of the Chrome Browser for smoother functioning on Touchscreen devices when you are using them in the Tablet mode. Although there are a number of improvement and features added in the Chrome OS 72, the best feature is the integration of Google Assistant and Android 9 Pie which makes the Chrome OS more useful than ever. You can observe a pill-shaped bar at the center of the screen through which you can type to search or can simply control it with your voice just like you do in Android Pie.

Apart from that, Google has added a Picture-in-Picture mode in the Chrome Browser for its OS using which you can easily navigate between multiple sites on your Chrome Browser. In addition, there is also a feature added in Chrome OS 72 which lets you to access your Google Drive directly through your File app and from there you can access your Files that are saved to Google Drive via Backup and Sync.

In addition, Google has taken care of the security of the new Chrome OS 72. The “Shill” File Manager of Chrome OS 72 is now sandboxed by Google just to prevent any vulnerable activities in Networking.
