The team at XDA Developers have released the first unofficial look of Android for Nintendo Switch users. Yes, you heard that right. Android is coming to Nintendo Switch anytime soon as per the recent reports.

As per the latest reports, Android’s full edition is coming to Nintendo Switch and other consoles. The new Nintendo Switch will come with Android build. What is surprising here is the console will be using a full Android OS just like an Android smartphone.

The update is still not official, but there are some developers who are using this update on their Nintendo Switch consoles. So yes, it is available for testing purposes for a limited number of developers and testers. The same will be made available for a public tester with full of its instructions. They will also provide proper guidelines to install the same on Nintendo Switch on a later date.

If we talk more about this update, then the Nintendo Switch’s edition of Android will be running on system’s MicroSD card. You will have an independent edition of Android for your Nintendo Switch console when it is made available.

This is indeed great news for those who are using Android games by breaking the policies. You will not have to use modded games to run with Nintendo Switch console as the same will be available officially for your device.

Apart from this, there were some Switch users who were breaking the OS just to install and use Android apps and games on their consoles. By now, they don’t need to break the OS. All the supported Android games and apps will be available free to use and explore on the console.

Additionally, the developers have also stated that the new Android-powered edition of the Switch will also support Nintendo Joy-Cons. This means you can use the official Joy-Cons to play your favourite Android Games within the Switch console.

Well, the Android edition for Nintendo’s Switch console is still in its early phase. For the very same reason, it will have to redevelop after receiving feedback from the developers and testers. They will soon release this edition for Nintendo Switch.
