It’s time for WWDC, and Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference is starting today with a keynote that promises to bring big news. We will cover everything you need to know about the event here on Engadget, along with live reactions to the announcements on our live blog. You can also watch the keynote below, which starts at 1PM ET.
At this year’s WWDC, we expect big updates from Apple, including the reveal of a high-end mixed-reality headset called the Reality Pro, which the company has reportedly been developing for many years. This product launch is expected to be Apple’s most notable since the Apple Watch’s arrival in 2015. However, the first version of the headset is expected to be primarily for early adopters and come with a steep price tag of $3,000.
We will also hear updates on Apple’s operating systems, and if rumors hold true, there could be a significant change to the iPhone and iPad ecosystem with the official support of third-party app stores in iOS 17 and iPadOS 17. Additionally, we may learn about several new Macs, such as a 15-inch MacBook Air, at the event. Either way, we won’t have to wait long to find out what Apple has in store.
