Pre-loading on PS4 and Xbox One started on November 5, and PC players were added to the pre-loading party on November 10. People picking up the game on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 can start pre-loading as soon as they get their console.

Pre-loading is a good idea, too, because Black Ops Cold War is a gigantic download. You can see the file sizes below.

Treyarch also recently spoke to GameSpot about the game’s various next-gen improvements for PS5 and Xbox Series X, including DualSense support. The developer also told us why the game is adopting its new synchronized XP system.

And in other news, the Call of Duty Endowment charity has teamed up with a tooth brush company to create a limited-edition Black Ops Cold War camo toothbrush.
