State-owned telco BSNL has introduced a new annual prepaid plan at Rs 1,499. This prepaid plan is valid for 365 days and offers free voice calls with a limit of 250 outgoing minutes every day. Beyond the 250 minutes, subscribers will have to pay as per the base plan till the limit renews at midnight. The base plan rates are Re 1 per minute for BSNL to BSNL calls and Rs 1.3 per minute for other calls including STD.
As far as data is concerned, you will only get 24GB in total along with 100 free SMS per day. The 100 Free SMS per day will be applicable in home and national roaming including MTNL network roaming area of Delhi and Mumbai. There is 365 days plus 30 days extra validity as part of the promotional offer for first 90 days.
BSNL has reintroduced its STV plan worth Rs 429. It offers unlimited free voice calls in home and national roaming including MTNL network roaming area of Delhi and Mumbai. “Customer using more than 250minutes outgoing minutes [(Local + STD + outgoing roaming) (On-net/off-net) as per Unlimited recharge benefits] in a day will be charged at base plan tariff, after consumption of 250minutes for the rest of the day till midnight 0.00hrs,” explained BSNL in its circular.
There is 100 free SMS per day and is applicable in home and national roaming including MTNL network roaming area of Delhi and Mumbai. Unlimited Data with speed restricted to 40 Kbps after 1GB per day.
