State-owned telecom operator BSNL has introduced a new prepaid plan of Rs 49. The service provider has introduced this plan on a promotional basis and it is available only for the period of 90 days. Presently, the telco has introduced this plan only in the Chennai and Tamil Nadu circles.
Under the Rs 49 plan, BSNL is offering 100 calling minutes. In case the user exhausts the daily FUP limit then they will have to pay45 paise per minute for the calls. The subscribers will also get free 2GB of data and 100 SMS as part of the plan. The plan comes with the validity of 28 days.
This new plan from BSNL will be available till November 29. Users can activate this new plan via C-TOPUP, selfcare, and Web portal. In case you wish to activate the plan using the selfcare method, then users can send a message STV COMBO49 to 123.
Recently, BSNL introduced a new annual prepaid plan at Rs 1,499. This prepaid plan is valid for 365 days and offers free voice calls with a limit of 250 outgoing minutes every day. Beyond the 250 minutes, subscribers will have to pay as per the base plan till the limit renews at midnight. The base plan rates are Re 1 per minute for BSNL to BSNL calls and Rs 1.3 per minute for other calls including STD.
Along with this, the plan also offer 24GB of total data and 100 free SMS per day.
