Brightspeed is making strides in its plans for additional construction of the Brightspeed Fiber Internet network in communities surrounding Raleigh. The company is working to connect more than 86,000 addresses across the Triangle Region of its home state of North Carolina.
Specifically, Brightspeed Fiber Internet connectivity will soon be available in Johnston, Harnett, Vance, Person, Orange, Moore, and Chatham counties, and construction is already underway for approximately 8,000 locations.
So far, nearly 19,000 addresses are fully enabled with Brightspeed Fiber Internet.
As construction gets underway, residents are likely already seeing Brightspeed trucks in their local neighborhoods as crews work to bring families and businesses online.

Leveraging XGS-PON technology, Brightspeed is already investing $2 billion in deploying fiber technology to build a broadband internet network, reaching over three million homes and businesses across 20 states.
