TCL Communications have officially declared that they will no longer be able to sell the BlackBerry’s Android-powered smartphones from August 2020. The company behind the marketing and selling of BlackBerry’s smartphones has announced this news.

The existing BlackBerry devices running on the Android platform will continue getting the updates and will be there in the market as it is. But they will not be able to sell out the upcoming devices from the said date.

BlackBerry has been struggling really hard in the competitive market and for that reason, they have decided in the year 2016 to not the manufacturer or produce their devices. The biggest licensing deal was done with the TCL which is near to end as per the fresh reports and official announcement from the TCL.

BlackBerry with TCL has produced a number of devices running on the Android platform. Unfortunately, none of their devices marks as a hit smartphone in the market. The companies have noticed a drastic fall in their business over the past few years due to high competition in the market.

We all know the Chinese Smartphone brands which are slowly dominating the smartphones market. The Chinese brands are covering a large area of the Smartphone market in many regions across the globe. With such a high competition, BlackBerry couldn’t survive and as a result, we have received this official statement from the BlackBerry’s licensing brand i.e. TCL.

Apparently, what we see here is the BlackBerry brand will be gone completely from the market particularly and not the TCL. As per TCL’s announcement, they will no longer sell out of BlackBerry’s Android-powered smartphones. They have not disclosed what they will be cooking inside their new kitchen in the statement. So yes, TCL may come up with their own new smartphones with the TCL brand-name, at least we can expect that.

Many tech-reporters have tried to contact to BlackBerry but they are not responding to anybody as of now. In the coming days, we will receive some official information about BlackBerry’s ending era from the Technology market. Nobody wants to see this popular brand dying, but due to lack of focus and not accepting new technology trends, the company is slowly dying.
