Bethesda Confirmed the Existence of the Enclave in Fallout 76

The Fallout 76 Beta is quickly coming to the Xbox One, PC, and PS4 players. And recently, Bethesda has confirmed on its latest faction for Fallout 76 the existence of the Enclave in some capacity within the Appalachia area, the Free States was also confirmed into the game.

Not too long ago, there are some speculations that the Enclave, one of Fallout’s oldest factions, was said to reappear in West Virginia, and Bethesda confirmed it yesterday. If you are not quite familiar, the Enclave is a group of descendants composed of high-ranking U.S. government officials, who played an important role in the past Fallout games.

This was confirmed after Fallout has tweeted an image of an Enclave character together with their logo.  “Just before the bombs fell, US leadership relocated to a remote Oil Rig off the coast of San Francisco.  The Enclave’s mission – to re-establish governmental control of America from key locations, like a secret bunker hidden somewhere deep in Appalachia…”, they said.

If we were to make assumptions according to Bethesda’s view of no human NPCs, players finding remnants of the group such as notes, references, and, most importantly, their equipment has a high probability to take place on the game. Even though the detailed role of factions in Fallout 76 is still unclear, it is practical to expect that players will be able to use the factions to as a role throughout their journey into the game.

The two other factions were also revealed these past few days, the First Responders and the Free States.  The First Responders might be the ones who will jump into the fray to help others in need. The Free States on the other hand consists of doomsday ‘preppers’ who prepared for the worst thing to happen.  As per the Enclave’s story, these two factions might have been wiped out during the war, and few remnants were only left.

There is a lot of unclear things yet to be revealed about the deep storyline of the Fall Out 76. The game is set to be released on November 14 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Upon its official release date, a lot of new information will be unveiled, so stay with TechnoCodex to be updated.
