Asus ZenFone Max Plus M1 with 5.7″ FullView Display and Dual Rear Cameras Launched in Malaysia


Asus on Wednesday has announced the launch of its new full-screen smartphone called ZenFone Max Plus M1 (ZB570TL) in Malaysia. The smartphone comes with the price tag of MYR 899 ($220 / Rs. 14,000 approx). It will be available in Sunlight Gold, Azure Silver, and Deepsea Black color options.

Talking about specifications, the Asus ZenFone Max Plus M1 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system with the customized ZenUI 4.0 on top. it sports a 5.7” HD+ (1440×720 pixels) 18:9 FullView display protected with a 2.5D curved glass on top. The smartphone is powered by up to 1.5GHz 64-bit MediaTek MT6750T octa-core SoC coupled with Mali-T860 GPU for better multimedia and gaming experience. It offers 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.

For photography, the Asus ZenFone Max Plus M1 comes equipped with a dual rear camera setup with a combination of a 16MP primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture and an 8MP secondary sensor with 120-degree wide-angle lens. On the front, it has a 16MP shooter with f/2.0 aperture.

The Asus ZenFone Max Plus M1 is fueled by a 4130mAh battery with 5V/2A (10W) fast charging support. The battery is rated to give up to 26 hours of 3G talk time and lasts up to 26 days on standby. Connectivity options include dual-SIM support, G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi direct, Bluetooth 4.0, FM Radio, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port, there is also a fingerprint scanner at the back.  It measures 152.6 x 73 x 8.8 mm and weighs 160 grams.
