Asus to Launch the 2nd Generation ROG Gaming Smartphone in Q3 2019


With an increase in the growing popularity of eSports Games among the users, the demand for Gaming smartphones in the market also increased tremendously. And so, to fill this hunger gaming smartphone manufacturers are updating their lineup to provide the best gaming smartphone to the customers. One such manufacturer is Asus who unveiled its new gaming smartphone series last year called ROG, and now, they are planning to launch a successor of the ROG Gaming Smartphone.

According to a new report from DigiTimes, the second-generation ROG gaming smartphone will arrive in the Q3, 2019. In addition, this report also claims that the company will tie up with Tencent in China to promote this phone among the growing population of gamers.

As of now, ROG Gaming smartphone is powered by the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC coupled with gaming dedicated hardware which makes this phone capable enough to run any high-end game smoothly without any frame-drop. It was launched at an expensive price tag of $900 in the US, while the 512GB version goes for $1100.

However, at this time, there is no word on the specifications of this phone. Since this upcoming phone by Asus will be the successor of the ROG Gaming smartphone, we may expect some high-end hardware for gaming and will be available at a hefty price too.
