Taiwanese smartphone brand Asus has reduced the price of its ROG Phone 3. The company has slashed the handset’s price by Rs 3,000 for all variants. Asus ROG Phone 3 was launched with a starting price of Rs 49,999 and has three different models.
After the price cut, the models are priced at Rs 46,999, Rs 52,999 and Rs 57,999 for -8GB+128GB (originally Rs 49,999), 12GB+128GB (originally Rs 55,999) and 12GB+256GB (originally Rs 62,999) respectively.
The new prices are reflecting on Walmart-owned Flipkart starting today. Buyers can avail 10% discount using Axis Bank credit and debit cards on the handset’s purchase during the Big Diwali sale from October 29 to November 4. Easy purchase options include no-cost EMI starting at Rs 5,223 per month.
Asus ROG Phone 3: Specifications
Asus ROG Phone 3 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ octa-core processor with Adreno 650 graphics. The processor is clocked at 3.1GHz. It runs on Android operating system. The smartphone features a 6.59-inch AMOLED HDR10+ display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio with a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels and 391ppi density. The phone’s display offers a refresh rate of 144Hz and is protected by Corning Gorilla 6.
On the camera front, the gaming smartphone comes equipped with a triple rear camera setup that consists of a 64MP Sony IMX686 sensor primary sensor along with 13MP 125-degree ultra-wide sensor and 5MP Macro sensor. For selfies, the phone sports a 24MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture and a pixel size of 0.9µm.
The smartphone can shoot 8K videos at 30fps using the primary camera, 4K HDR videos at 30/60fps, full HD at 30/60 fps and Time Lapse in 4K, FHD and HD resolution.
