Ubisoft has rolled out the Title Update 1.04 for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. The update adds new game content and comes with several bug fixes. The update has been rolled out to the game versions on Xbox consoles, PS4 and PS5, Ubisoft Connect and Epic Games Store. It has also arrived on Google Stadia and Amazon Luna versions of the game.
Here is a glimpse at what all new has been added to the game:
The update adds an option to the game that allows players to choose between Performance or Visual Quality. This graphics/performance mode option is available for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation5.
If you choose Performance, the game will try to adapt the resolution and graphic settings to maintain 60 FPS, as per Ubisoft. In case you choose Quality, the game will try to run the maximum resolution and graphic settings while maintaining 30 FPS. For PS5 and Xbox Series X, the default value has been set to Performance while for Xbox Series S, the default value is set to Quality.
The other additions to the game include a new background image to the title screen, various VFX and an option that will automatically assign all nodes on the path when acquiring a central skill.Also, the update adds rune categories to the rune menu and a warning when switching from a language that supports TTS to one that doesn’t. The fabric limit has been increased to 82 and the update also adds fabric to traders once the settlement reaches Level 6.
