Apple to hold ‘special event’ on Nov 10: ‘One more thing’

After the iPhone 12 launch, Apple has plans to launch another device. The Cupertino-based tech giant has sent out virtual invites to journalists for a ‘special event’ dubbed as “One more thing” that the company is hosting on November 10, at 10 AM PST or 11:30PM Indian time. Apple will be streaming the event live on Apple.com and is expected to be available on YouTube as well.
So, after the iPhone 12 series launch, what can Apple launch now? Of course, Apple hasn’t confirmed anything officially but anyone can guess that CEO TIm Cook will most likely launch new MacBooks with Apple’s very own processor. Cook has already committed that Macs with Apple’s own processors will be shipping by the end of 2020.
Apart from new MacBooks, it will be interesting to see if Apple releases any new hardware products this year.
As for the upcoming MacBook models, Apple is expected to launch a 13-inch MacBook Pro and a MacBook Air. For those unaware, Apple up until now has used Intel’s chipsets to power its MacBooks.
At WWDC 2020 earlier this year, Apple CEO Tim Cook had said, “From the beginning, the Mac has always embraced big changes to stay at the forefront of personal computing. Today we’re announcing our transition to Apple silicon, making this a historic day for the Mac. With its powerful features and industry-leading performance, Apple silicon will make the Mac stronger and more capable than ever. I’ve never been more excited about the future of the Mac.”
