Apple Might Put OLEDs in Future iPads and Macbooks

We have been hearing a lot about Apple’s future MacBooks and other iOS-powered devices. Now, new sources claim that Apple might use Samsung’s OLEDs in their future iPads and MacBooks.

We all know that Samsung is the exclusive supplier of OLED screens for both, Mobile devices and Laptops. Apple is reportedly in talks with the South Korean giant to set a deal for their future macOS and iOS devices which will be featuring OLED screens.

Apple bought a few numbers of OLEDs from Samsung for testing purpose recently. According to news, Apple owes Samsung a penalty of hundreds of millions of dollars for the shortfall of its recent iPhones. The iPhones market fell down in the recent quarter and Apple is worried about it already.

To fulfil the agreement’s money, Apple has offered a number of options to Samsung to clear this deal. The company will set out this deal by ordering OLED screens to Samsung for their future Notebooks and Tablets i.e. MacBooks and iPads. This seems a legit deal for both the companies as they will collaboratively grow together after this deal.

In the future MacBooks, Apple will use high-end OLED screen which results in high price tags of the future devices. We have already heard about Apple is working on the new generation MacBooks with 16 Inch and 16.5 Inch screens. Now after this report, we can expect these new generation MacBooks to come with OLED screens from Samsung.

Apart from this, a trusted Apple leakster Kuo has reported that the company is working on two new iPad Pro editions for this year. We can expect these two new iPad editions to feature the same OLED panels instead of Retina or any other. The Mass production of these two new generation iPad Pro will begin in the final quarter of the current year. Apple didn’t announce anything regarding their new generation iPads and NoteBooks till date.

OLED panels will come with a lot of benefits for the users. However, you have to pay extra bucks to test out and explore the real world on the OLED panels. We will tell you more about this deal on a later date.
