Apple’s Maps is not as popular as Google Maps due to some limitations. However, over the past few months, we have seen many updates to Apple Maps. Starting from today, Apple has begun rolling out a major Apple Maps update for its users. If you have been using this app on your Apple devices, then you should get a new update which includes a number of new features and functions to the app.

Apple had already announced the major update and improved features for the Apple Maps for its new iOS 13 update. As per the company’s claim, they have started rolling out the much-awaited Apple Maps update for the upgraded iOS devices to the latest version i.e. iOS 13.

The company has rolled out the upgraded Apple Maps with Califonia and Texas and will reach to more cities before the end of this current week. The same update will be spread throughout North America in the next month as per the insider’s report.

If we talk about the new features that you will receive with this major update of the app is detailed transit directions. The company has added this new transit details in 17 countries across the world which was previously available only for 10 countries. This feature is quite useful for regular travellers in different services offered by the government. Google doesn’t offer this type of feature to its users.

Apart from this, the upgraded Apple Maps brings a new feature called Look Around. This new feature lets you look-around the real world around your present locations. This feature is very useful to those who really want to explore the places, foods, restaurants and more to their nearby locations. This feature acts like Google’s own Street-view feature. This will be more premium for the users in terms of services and other functions.

Moreover, the updated Apple Maps brings new real-time ETA sharing feature with your friends directly from the Apple Maps. You can also group share it with multiple people at the same time. The company has used Machine Learning and many other advanced technologies to beat Google’s Maps.
