Apple has resolved issues that some users were facing while accessing iCloud services which includes iCloud Drive, Contacts, Calendar, Photos, Keychain, Find My and others. Some users reported that several iCloud services were not working. Apple later confirmed that 14 iCloud services were affected by an outage. Apple said, “some users are affected and may be experiencing a problem with this service” on its System status website.
What was surprising about this outage was that even the Find my service stopped working for some users and Apple confirmed the same by saying, “Users may have been unable to find the location of people or devices, list registered devices, play a sound on their device, remotely wipe a device, or put the device in lost mode.” The Find My app is crucial when locating a lost iPhone.
Thankfully, Apple has now confirmed that all the services are now back online.
Last month, Apple said some of its users were experiencing problems while accessing certain services, including the App Store, Apple Music and TV+ streaming service. As per a report by
outage tracking website Downdetector.com showed that there were nearly 2,000 incidents of people reporting issues with Apple Music, while more than 200 users flagged issues with iTunes and App Store.
Meanwhile, Apple has introduced Apple One subscription service in India at Rs 195 per month. Apple One is a bundled plan of Apple’s subscription services, including Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, Apple News+, Apple Fitness+, and iCloud. Customers will need just one subscription to get access to Apple services on Apple devices.
The family plan includes Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, and 200GB of iCloud storage will be available for Rs 365 per month and can be shared among up to six family members.
