Apple continues to fix broken iPhones even if they have third-party Batteries


Apple has changed its service policy and now they will be fixing the broken iPhones even if they found third-party batteries in it. Before this, Apple refuses to any iPhone if they found a non-Apple battery included in them bu now, according to a report claimed by MacRumors and iGeneration, they will be now fixing the devices even if they found an unauthorized battery in them.

According to this report, the official Technician on Apple Authorized Service Providers (AASP) and on Genius Bars are now permitted to fix the iPhones having third-party batteries in it. The technicians will be replacing the non-Apple batteries with original Apple batteries at standard rates. However, they will be fixing only if the concern is related to unauthorized batteries and display. If they found any other unauthorized components like Microphone or Sensors they will not offer their services.

In 2017, Apple had made some changes in its policy and started fixing the iPhone even if they carry third-party display and now they again made a great change in their policy to accept repairing the iPhones with non-Apple batteries. Replacing iPhone battery with a new battery after some time results in the boost of performance and looking forward to this concern Apple started a program in January 2018, to replace the old Apple battery with a new battery at just $29.
