Apple Brings New Code-Teaching App for Mac Users

If you are eager to learn computer languages and want to dive into the world of coding then Apple is here to help you with it. The company has today released its Swift Playgrounds, a code-learning app for Mac users. The Swift Playgrounds app was originally launched in the year 2016 exclusively for iPad users.

According to various reports, the new Swift Playgrounds app is made in Catalyst which is Apple’s new program to make it easier for the developers to learn to code.

The Swift Playgrounds app is designed for users with no knowledge of coding. According to the official description of the app, Swift Playgrounds app requires no coding knowledge. It’s an ideal app for the students who have just started learning how to code. This is not an ordinary platform but a powerful platform which is also a great tool for the professional coders who work on different projects.

You can use this app now on a Mac system as well as on an iPad device. The code you write will be synced to all the Apple devices and will be stored over the cloud. You will not lose your work and data while using this app.

Apparently, the Mac version of the Swift Playgrounds app is a bit different. Instead of touch, the Mac version of the app now works with the mouse. It lets you make use of the standard click and drag function for the build in programs.

As noted above, the Swift Playgrounds app for iPad and Mac is integrated with iCloud. If you are using the app to develop new software or game, then you can add codes and edit them on both the platforms. You don’t need to worry about your hard work as everything will be stored over the iCloud’s library. Make sure you are using the same Apple ID on the devices on which you are working.

According to sources, the new Swift Playgrounds app is also compatible with MacBook Pro’s Touchbar. We will learn more about this new code-learning app in the coming days. Stay tuned with us!
