Android TV set to gain Google Assistant Voice Match


In a recent announcement, Google said that it will bring Assistant’s Match feature to many more features and smart displays in the coming months. But now, it looks like the tech giant has also added Android TV in the list to bring Google Assistant Voice Match.

According to a code hunt by 9to5Google team, they have discovered code indicating that Voice Match is in the works for Android TV. As of now, there is still not clearance over what changes will be there on Android TV in comparison to the other platforms. However, it is sure that there will be some notable advantages of this feature on Android TV.

Well, Google is rumored to be preparing an Android TV dongle that would clearly benefit from Voice Match. That will important for Google for Stadia integration whenever it will be available to Android TV.

TV viewing is often one of the prime use cases for multi-user support, and support for multiple voices could make your living room experience that much easier. It’s good to see Google putting more and more effort into making Android TV something great.
