An iOS Family Sharing Bug Causes Apps to Crash on iPhone, iPad

A new bug has been reported in iOS which is impacting a significant portion of Apple’s user base on Friday. This bug appears to be from the operating system’s Family Sharing feature.

With this bug, Apple users are getting an error message saying, “This app is no longer shared with you.” Well, this error is triggered while opening some popular apps like, Discord, Facebook, WhatsApp, YouTube, and many others.

The error dialogue also suggests users buy or download the affected app from the App Store which might resolve this issue on that particular app. The issue presents on current versions of iOS, including the latest iOS 13.5 update released this week.

As Apple works on a permanent fix, users can temporarily fix this issue by uninstalling and re-downloading affected apps. Offloading the app instead of deleting it might also work.
