Amazfit Neo smartwatch with upto 4 weeks of battery life launched


NEW DELHI: Xiaomi-owned brand Huami has launched its latest smartwatch — Amazfit Neo in China. Priced at 299 yuan (Rs 3,210), the smartwatch comes in Black, Green and Orange colour options.
The company has also announced that the wearable is already available for purchase in the country.
The Amazfit Neo comes with a 1.2-inch energy-efficient STN LCD display which promises to offer clear visibility under sun. The smartwatch comes with a plastic body and has four buttons.
The smartwatch is compatible with both Android and iOS devices.
Amazfit Neo comes with a 24 hour heart rate monitoring and is also water-resistant up to 50 meters. The wearable comes with PAI health analysis and offers 3 sports modes — running, walking and cycling. It also comes with activity tracking and sleep monitoring functionality.
Users can also receive notifications for calls, messages, emails, weather and other apps on the smartwatch.
The Huami Amazfit Neo is backed by a 160mAh battery which promises to deliver 28 days of battery life with typical use and 37 days with basic use.
Last month, Huami launched the Amazfit Zepp E smartwatch in the US. Priced at $249, the smartwatch is water-resistant and is backed by a 188 mAh battery which promises to offer 7 days of battery life on a single charge. The company claims that the wearable takes 2 hours to charge completely. The smartwatch comes with 11 different sports modes which include walking, treadmill, running, skiing, climbing, and others.
The wearable also comes equipped with blood-oxygen saturation SpO2 monitoring, and Personal Activity Intelligence {PAI) health assessment. Apart from all this, the smartwatch also offers notifications for calls, messages, emails, and more.
