Alleged iPhone 12 Molds and CAD Images Appears Online Showing the Phone’s Design
Apple is expected to kick start the production of its upcoming iPhone 12 lineup from the very next month. However, rumors and leaks related to the device isn’t coming to its end. Today, we have got to see a range of images from Twitter user @Jin_Store allegedly showing the upcoming iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro molds that reveal how exactly would iPhone 12 will look like.
These molds look similar to those which we usually see in the lead-up to the announcement of new iPhones. These molds are basically based on the leaked schematic that is produced by third-party case makers to manufacturer cases for upcoming devices.
Looking at the design of the mold, they are similar to what we have seen in the rumors that have leaked from the supply chain regarding Apple’s upcoming iPhone models. However, the notch doesn’t appear to be smaller as we have heard in the rumors, but this may be because case makers make quite bigger cuts and openings to make it easier for the phone to sit inside it.
The mold images show all iPhone four sizes that rumors have indicated Apple may release in 2020: A 5.4-inch iPhone 12, a 6.1-inch iPhone 12, a 6.1-inch iPhone 12 Pro, and a 6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro Max.
In addition to the molds, he also shared a number of CAD renders. The CAD render also shows a similar design inspired by the rumors and leaks. This CAD may be made by the case maker to accurately make the cases for the phone.
