airtel 399 postpaid plan: Airtel’s Rs 399 postpaid plan to take on Reliance Jio

NEW DELHI: Mukesh Ambani-owned Reliance Jio recently introduced new prepaid plans. Now, in order to give competition to Jio, Airtel brought back its postpaid plan of Rs 399. The same plan was earlier available in some of the select telecom circles, but now it is available across India.
Under Rs 399 postpaid plan, the service provider offers 40GB data with unlimited calling and 100 SMS per day. The plan also offers a subscription for Airtel Xstream Premium, and one year subscription for Wynk Music and Shaw Academy. Apart from these benefits, the Airtel users will also get free Hello tunes and cashback on FASTag transactions.
On the other hand, Reliance Jio offers unlimited calling, unlimited SMS and 75GB data under Rs 399 plan. Along with this, users will also have complimentary access to the MyJio apps and free subscriptions to other OTT services as well.
Recently, Airtel also revised two of its postpaid plans. The telco has revised the Rs 1499 and Rs 1999 One Airtel plans and now both the plans offer unlimited data. Both the plans offer a 1-year subscription of Amazon Prime Video and Airtel Xstream.
The Rs 1,499 One Airtel plan combines the broadband and postpaid mobile services under one bill. The plan allows users to give 2 postpaid connections and offer 75GB data. Users also have the benefit of unlimited calling. The plan also offers fiber and landline services with unlimited internet at 200 Mbps speed.
On the other hand, the Rs 1,999 One Airtel plan combines four services in one bill. The services include mobile, broadband, landline and DTH service. Under this plan, Airtel postpaid users will get 3 postpaid connections with 75GB data and unlimited calls. The customers are also allowed to add TV channels of up to Rs 424 in the plan. It also provides fiber and landline services with unlimited internet at 200 Mbps speed.
