Adobe Adds Another Huge Desktop Feature to iPad Photoshop App

Adobe Photoshop is undoubtedly the best professional-grade photo editing software on the web world. Adobe has recently launched Adobe Photoshop app for iPad last year. Today, the makers have released yet another major update of the iPad app by adding the much-awaited desktop feature to the app.

The Photoshop software has completed 30 years. To celebrate its 30th birthday, the tablet version of the Photoshop app gets a new smart select feature. On the other hand, the desktop version of the app also received a new update with a number of improvements.

Apparently, the Tablet edition of the software still lacks some important features of the desktop version but somehow managed to collect the basic photo editing features. They are continuously working on the update to add new desktop features to the tablet version.

Today’s update is called a major update of the app as it gets the much-awaited smart select feature. This smart select feature was added about three months ago to the desktop edition and today, the same feature now added to its tablet edition.

This new smart select feature uses smart machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies. When you select an object from the image, it will act as a fine primary object. You can either select the entire image or a part of the image with this smart select feature. The ability to select the object or its part is what makes this new feature an important one for professional users.

You don’t need to tap on the object as you can now simply select and drag the selected object anywhere you want. You can add or remove other parts from the object or the image as per your needs after completing the selection process.

On the other hand, Photoshop for Desktop has added a lot of improvements with the much-awaited content fill feature. You can now select multiple objects from the same image and can add auto-fill to all the selected areas on the desktop. The ability to manage multiple layers has also been improved with the new major update of the app.
