A Major Redesign Is Coming to Snapchat


Instagram is copying the features of Snap and we all are pretty much well aware of it. Snap is now working hard to bring new and innovative features for the existing users and also to attract new users. The company is currently testing out two new features with brand-new design of the app.

A renowned tipster has shared two photographs of what Snap is currently working on. The ongoing tests have been made available to a small percentage of users across the globe.

The first photograph shows off the new design of the Snapchat app for both the smartphone platforms. Yes, Snapchat to receive a major update with a redesigned theme. The new design provides a new home to the existing users of the app. Snap Map will be more visually rich with the face icons of the users on the navigation map.

Apart from this, the other update will show you the breaking news directly on your main screen while exploring the Snapchat app. You can explore more of the breaking news and other popular news from the Discover page of the app.

Instead of three sections, the new design will bring five distinct sections. A new navigation bar will also be introduced with this major update of the app for smartphone platforms.

The Snap Map will be linked directly to the black navigation bar given at the bottom side of the app. Apart from this, the other useful options such as Chat, Camera, Community etc will also be given there to access quickly from the main home page of the app.

According to experts, the new design of the Snapchat app will become a lot easier for the new users. Yes, their aim is to attract new users. Ever since Facebook-owned Instagram, they are copying the features of Snapchat and collected a huge number of users from Snapchat. Snapchat is now working hard to gain those users back to their platform and they are gradually achieving it.

There’s no official word on the availability of this new redesigned Snapchat app. However, we will soon get to see this major update very soon.
