From taking care of your back to offering you high-end comfort, a good gaming chair makes working or gaming at your computer a much more enjoyable experience.
In this post, I’ll be looking at the newest iteration of my favorite gaming chair, the Respawn 200 gaming chair by OFM. It’s the successor to the popular Respawn-110, which PC gamer called “one of our favorite gaming chairs”. How just how well does the latest model hold up in terms of comfort, style, and cost, and is it worth buying? Let’s find out our Respawn gaming chair review.

Main Features
The RSP-200 or Respawn 200 can be considered a budget chair, at less than $200. True, there is quite a bit of plastic with the chair, and that includes the base, but even so, the chair feels very sturdy.
The chair is manufactured by OFM, a leading office furniture manufacturer. They focus on ergonomic furniture at medium to low price points.
The chair’s lumbar cushion has been designed to relieve stress on your back. An interesting aspect of this chair is the backrest design- it has 4 wings that look like fangs coming out of the chair. You’ll either love or hate the design.
The cushions of the chair are made from a high-density foam covered with bonded leather.
Then there are those 3D padded armrests. The armrests can move up and down, and even inwards or outwards.
First Impressions
The Respawn 200, in general, is a decent ergonomic chair that should keep you comfortable for hours on end.
To start, I love the mesh backrest with adjustable lumbar that pivots to support your back. On a hot day, or during an intense gaming session, you could be sweating more than usual. With the breathable mesh on this cool chair, there is air constantly circulating.
And unlike many gaming chairs that use an external pillow as an excuse for proper lumbar support, the Respawn 200 actually comes with built-in lumbar that can be adjusted to fit the curve of your back. The external head pillow can be removed if you don’t need it.
Aesthetics and Functionality Combined
The Respawn 200 comes in 5 different color choices. Think of the color schemes you like because you can take your pick from grey, blue, red, green and white accents.
Many cheap gaming chaise uses nylon tubes for the skeleton of the chair, making you skeptical how well it will hold up. This gaming chair from Respawn uses tubes made from solid steel so that the chair caters easily for weights up to 275 pounds.
Furthermore, every decent gaming chair needs to be able to recline, just to give you that break, and the RSP-200 allows you to recline to a full 130°. The chair has a tension system that prevents the chair from tipping.

Conclusion
As mentioned, the Respawn 200 chair is a predecessor to the popular Respawn 110. In my opinion, the new version is a step up, mostly due some ergonomic features usually reserved for much higher end chairs, such as adjustable lumbar support and 3D armrests. The only thing that’s lacking is a footrest, found in the older Respawn 110 chair. If a footrest is important, you can still buy the later on Amazon.
